My Beautiful Birthday celebration at Paulaners!

SO it was the humchimpangs who celebrated my birthday with me! a pity cheryl,ibro fall sick and eunice couldnt come!
But anyways lets begin!

After School, i went to meet humchimpangs at marinasq
Walked around first coz it was still early!
Finally we went to Paulaners! for dinner this beautiful beautiful German restaurant i heart!
u should have seen the ceiling! it had little lights blinking like stars in the sky.

German bread for appetizer! apply either butter or this pig liver but kinda minced already.
the pig liver idea was bad but it tasted alot like luncheon meat. REALLY. so while waiting for food to come i actually opened my present VIOLA! i liked it! =]

SO we ordered the Chef Jody Yu platter that had all kinds of meat on the platter! pork,chicken,duck,sausages! and i think theres still one more but i forgot wats it. and ye the plate was really huge! Imagine 3 person sharing still more den enuf! honestly this pic dont do the actual size of the plate justice, its just HUGE!

and this is actually the baby cow cutlet with cranberry and potatos on the left, (forgot the dish's name) it was good too!

CLARIS on the verge of breaking down for being not able to cut the pork knuckle!

it was all super filling, claris threw in the white flag first followed by NOT JERMAINE but me.

i stopped after i was finding my food hard to swallow coz i really couldnt fit anymore food in the stomach space anymore! not because it tasted bad, but ye JERMAINE = PRO.

We Spent hours talking at the table, indulging in wat excellent atmostphere we were in.
Jermaine just wouldn't let the waiter clear the plates! she wanted to finish up food left, but she knew she couldnt ! haha

alrightey, after dinner we went downstairs and here comes the beautiful surprise.

THe live band started singing birthday song and i heard my name in the song too!

shocked i was under unknowing circumstances dat all this was happening,

den the waitress? was holding the birthday cake walking towards me HAHA!

it was all so beautiful. That wasnt all,

the liveband singer Beverly (singapore idol) asked mi to swallow my saliva .

FOR WAT? i was thinking.

I was to go up the stage to sing! omg. So i sang quando quando quando with the liveband haha! i think most parts of the song i was trying to figure out when to start singing LOL.

me on stage but u cant really see.

but oh come on it was all so cool!

Its feels good that i didnt plan anything for my birthday at all, all HUMCHIMPANGS effort not even i chosed the location for my birthday.

HAHA. Lets all smell the love in the air! =]

Oh man finally finish with the presentations!

Halo people! sorry for the recent dissapearance again.
Jus finished my two days of orientation,
it was fab!
plus a beautiful surprise dat came so unexpected
and dat is me winning the Mr Freshie 2007 for the school of BuSiness,haha
though my partner for Miss freshiedidnt win,
anyway, wei qu ni le! for having to partner with me lah
the orientation group leaders were fun people! vinod and huiping!
it was great i made quite abit of friends in this two days
and most importantly being able to meet florence also!

so we actually had to hold the gals hand to walk and everything u know in other words all the guys were very gentlemen last night!

Today ahlong saw xueling at the interchange, so he sat down and talk with her.

BBQ-ed with dear friends ON Sunday at Chery'ls house!
It was crazy i tell u, from buying the food together to starting the fire
but hey! we started the fire pretty fast, come on there was
3 Ex gal guides and 1 Ex st John personel, dat explains why =]
i played Diff roles the whole day.
at first it was the very important task of xspg (Xiu shou pang guang) which literally means doing nothing
haha i didnt remain at dat role for too long, den i shifted to the "fanning the fire away" role and finally to the CHEF role

On Saturday ,

met the humchimpangs and kalyn!
havent seen kalyn and jer for quite some time already, since results day!
Jer just came back from HK! *Jealous*
it was exagerrating(spelling check pls).
Jer couldnt recognise me neither could kalyn! but mayb coz i was wearing a cap.
It was crazy coz we accompanied Jer all the way to kallang(super far) to get something of hers fixed.SUper unfortunately, when we found the company it was closed!

So yup, i headed back down to school ytd.
Saw many familiar faces and it was " AHLONG!" "AHLONG!" here and there.
and also some HELLO from lower sec i didnt know, wasnt quick enough to respond to them though haha.anyways heres a HELLO back to u guys.
Sat-in the drama session for Some fun! games and their SYF drama rehearsal.
It was my first time sitting with the teachers to watch them perform in the dance studio,
Suddenly i felt old.
HAHA. as in Senior enough to be able to sit there and not down there.

There was alot of " OMG! ur hair" dramatic reactions from people i know.

Project Temp Retirement, Day1

First day of my PROJECT Temporary retirement started out like this.
Met cheryl at a friggin early 9am, to go for the medical examination required for the poly enrolment.
She accompanied me lah! thanks! another da hao ren!
The Queue was friggin long and i think they havent even operated for one hour after their actual opening time.
Ahlong: " my gawd, we should have came at 6am and stand at the door lah! "

Then adeline came along to meet us while I was still waiting for my last room to go to.
After all that DONE! , We watched MOVIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE at causeway point. friggin early.
like 12.20pm and some of u readers were still studying in school HEES :D
ticket was cheap, $6.50.WOOT!
How much i love holidays :D
we went for some HEALTHY activity dere after, TO THE LIBRARY~
Ahlong hearts books and movies if u didnt know.

and it was back home to slack even more! after borrowing a few books to keep me busy during my free time the next few days!

we only had one full day in taiwan, so this is it

we were welcomed by this really huge chandelier in the restaurant, i love chandeliers! i swear i gonna have one in my house next time even if it doesnt really fits in a HDB flat Haha.

their buffet was good! and i think most hotels dont really serve good buffet food but this one is good!

so as soon as we finished breakfast, we started our journey to Tze meng Ding. it was only a few stops like 5 stops from our hotel, the Fare was cheap too mayb like a dollar.

we had breakfast, not me not cheryl but stephanie coz she didnt went for the buffet. but the cafe we went was a nice place.see the chair behind? their decor is old school and den theres like Different coffe machines from all over the generations..

heres my drink, called Crazy lover in chinese ( feng kuang lian ren) it has this really nice and special aroma but i am not really sure about the taste, its a little sour dont really like it.

roamed ximen, but shops were not opened yet so we just spent time walking around PS: didnt take photos when all the shops were opened and the crowd on the street. Was too busy shopping lahs!

had our lunch Standing up haha, Look at the crowd and you know its good! our first time having lunch standing up by the road!

simple as it may seem, theres alot of layers of taste, i tell you its so good!

Ps: again didnt take pictures when shopping. SO when me and cheryl finally finished all the shops and already walked a few rounds of the same places already,we went to find stephanie and her friends and karaoke! their karaoke is happening can, the whole building like 8 levels was KARAOKE. at first i thought from outside it was a hotel or something =.=

check this out, i liked this seat alot, it was like ur a little star sitting there to sing.
Every room even had a personal toilet attached to them lahs!

me singing! pretty bad shot but nv, see the little door is the toilet! and they called it ( hua zhuang shi) which means make up room.

they even give rating on the screen after u finish singing, i scored 78! which was my best one.

after streching our vocals, we proceeded to the famous shihlin ye shi!

the signboard obviously tells you wat we were queing up for,

yup yup its the XXL crispy chicken!

stephanie was withstanding the HOTNESS of the chicken while i was trying to take a perfect shot, dat explains why her face is kindda feirce. haha

check out the crowd! luckily it was winter, if not i would have been sweating like shit.
So i would say winter is a good season to go!

their " ou ar jian " oyster in english. its different from singapore's as they have it with this sauce dat tastes superb with the OU ar JIAN.

All smiles for good food! there was lots of other food dat my camera missed. Busy eating mahs!

they were catching prawns! and the horizontal side was for catching tortises

wat were they doing? cleaning their ears....

that more or less summarized my day 2 of taiwan!
after shihlin we went back to hotel to bath and change and wearing " home clothes" we roamed the streets around our hotel and went to have supper! at this 24hour cafe, we even took neoprints!haha

after all tha crazy stuffs in the room, we again watched tv! and it was already like 2am. good programs all day long!

Day 1 of Taiwan

Oh yea taiwan was good on the next few days i'll just try to blog everything =] Thats my finger pointing to our flight!
all excited for the flight!

checked in as usual and how can u miss those escalators at the airport!
Cheryl pretty excited!

i hate those air pressure thang dat makes ur ear hurt.argh!

it was dumb not to bring poker or tidbits for the 4hour flight.
time past slowly, and even more slowly when ur excited to touch down in taiwan!
finally reached! and get ready to see practically everything in chinese and its fan ti zi everywhere!

stephanie's friend came to pick us up from the airport thanks Li Li and Allan!
it was a one hour ride from the airport to taipei.
it was only 6+ but it was very dark already.pretty cold dat night too.
checked in first to the hotel and i think i saw Du de wei?
anyways the service was good!

next we were pretty hungry already, so Allan brought us to a good Mala hotpot place ! and it waS really good. authentic mala huoguo!

it was so filiing and defitenitely goood!

next we shopped around the shops around our hotel.

there were lots of shops lah and those roadside ones.

pretty good finds and cheap ones!

after which we went to the cafes dat opens 24 hr, it was a huge crowd. people were just slacking around playing poker, smoking. U hardly get such good hangouts here lahs.

and we went back to the hotel at 2+ it was so hard to sleep coz the tv programs were good!

Was in a good mood today, so i bought egg tarts for the family..
Carried my egg tarts with a little hope tat they would probably enjoy it.
Unlucky enough. the MRT was more packed den usual.
Scared dat the tarts might get squished!
i was holding the tarts like thye were more inportant den me.
despite all dat effort, a men rushing to get out of the mrt kena-ed my egg tarts box.
everyone looked.Luckily they were fine..
Saved were the tarts!

I was on my way to work at usual,
Standing all the way as usual on the train.
Dere was some tapping on my shoulder
turned my head to find two eldery trying to prepare to get up to get to the door.
He was holding her.
but when thr mrt braked, She almost fell but luckily someone was there to block.
they made their way out of the train.
Before the doors closed i could see Him trying to ask if she was ok and all.
and no she wasn't.
Part of me felt glad to see they still care for each other alot.
Most of me felt sad to see her almost fall.

When i was moving the chairs and tables during work,
I stopped to make way for a grandma to walk,
she said Guai..

its been so long since i heard dat coming out from an elderly.
really.
Suddenly missed the feeling of having my Grandma..
Guess i was too young den to Love her loads

These days have been really happy.
Partly because i am goin taiwan next week!
and mainly because my new supervisor is crazy.
hahaha the whole work thing has become so exciting and i anticipate for the next day.
whats on my mind:
-how much to bring to taiwan
-bring thinjacker(nice)(not practical) or thickjacket(ugly)(practical).
-my one month salary left abit only =.=
but anyhow since i am goin i should enjoy myself. dun think about the $$$ yah.
taiwan is in the winter season now, 13-18 degrees, just wondering how cold is dat.
oh i cant wait to go the nightmarkets, mala huo guo! , the shopping!
and hopefully we dont lose our way too much since we gon be on our own.
8 more days!

however my supervisor aint gonna stay at this outlet for long after next week she will go back to her original otulet, kinda saddening when i think about it. its only been a few days with her but i feel its been like months.

my hp has spoilt and i am not even considering repairing it mwahahaha.

the mrt has been my main MAIN transport for the past few days..weeks.
and i am seeing familiar faces who take the mrt around the same time as me.
i am amazed how people who nv purposely made it a point to meet in the end still end up seeing each other.
On my way to work i always have a book with me.
now i am reading " Running with scissors " by augusten burroughs.
its so funny, i feel like an idiot sometimes laughin and smilin to the book.
and den i try really hard to stop laughin but mentally i am laughing like crazy.
also, when i am on my way home, MRT again.
Amused how people fart and get away with it, coz its so crowded u nv really know who farted unless u hear it which u wont coz the sound of the mrt "running" camouflages the FART.

it was a bad day today, but i am glad i didnt react spontaneously to the argument(and i always dont) coz i would be speaking words of anger, those words dat came to my mind at that point in time, if i would have said it out i think i would regret now.

it was a crazy weekend.

Sat was my bro's engagement and the ceremony was held at his place.
Suddenly dat night my workplace was super buzzling with people and a extra
something dat felt like warmth and sweetness and love bundled together.
there was loud music and soon after the buffet
people were drinking and dancing the whole night away.
my whole fam and relatives was dancing haha crazy night defitnitely.

Den on Sun i made a trip to jane's house with ys before goin to countdown.
it was jane's mom bd!
as soon as the door opened we ran in and very enthu " auntie HAPPY BIRTHDAY! "
lol.. no i am not dat crazy.
after the cutting cake ceremony we chionged to meet the rest of the people for countdown.
it was already like 11 and we were worrying about not being able to catch the fireworks.
as soon as we reached city hall mrt station we Ran all the way. kiasu...
it was so funny along the way and my first time running in citylink bah!
we got sprayed after the fireworks. DAMN!
the fireworks was kindda short i felt.
den we slacked and went home at about 4+
it was damn diffucult to get a cab lah.
but we did afterall.

i am like super lazy to update the blog.
haha but anyhow just to keep friends updated of my recent happenings.
So after days of working i still am liking my job.
not tired at all!
besides i got a good supervisor haha.
and thank her for saving me sometimes in some situations.
hmm but i havent really found my goal in this job,
maybe i would like to hear some good feedback from customers about my service.
Sure i will work towards that!
things have been goin pretty well for me nowadays.

Whats christmas eve without sore eye and a pimple sitting somewhere below ur lips?
haha pretty bad.
WOrk i guess, kinda made mi look shag and unkempt.(work only who cares right?)
But i really am liking my job(waiter) alot!
the first few days was feeling bad,
but as the days passed,i got better.
and when i felt i gave good service and saw customers sort of accepting it and smiling, the sense of accomplishment is WOA!
and the rest of the day i'll be feeling OhsoGOODa!

my christmas eve was spent in my friend's house, a cosy heartwarming little apartment just right for the two of them. With the christmas carols playing slow.. , what could be better den spending ur Eve there.

It was supposed to be Salome's sort of little birthday celebration yesterday..
so we had dinner at ThaiExpress.
The " 3103 " (number representing the dish) was super good.
go order it next time when ur there, i have already memorised this no!
Before settling at ThaiExpress, we were actually strugglin abit to find a Halal place.
apparently, very limited.
after dinner we did some finger exercises!
Arcade lah! So long since i played video games.
So much fun = So much money spent.

Holidays have been great so far!
Its like today go out,tmr stay at home and rest.
I'm Loving it!
the previous days i was at wen xin's chalet and escape theme park!
Wen xin's chalet was happening!
Escape was fun!
until at one point in time i was really giddy and had to just sit around.
luckily i had finished most of the rides already.
but i wanna say NOT ENOUGH KICK.
ticket was cheap 6bucks only.Escape 6th anniversary!
but i recommend u to go in the evening seriously.
Coz its freaking hot waitin in friggin long queues!
Not sure wat time they open till but i assure u there will be enough time to finsih all the rides.
EXCEPT if u wan to go for kiddy rides.(which gives so much kick! your right..)
Ah! i missed the ferris wheel!
I wan more pirate ship!
Too bad the Last seat on both sides of the pirate ship was under service(the most thrilling one!)
anyhow, we took the second last seats =]

I LOVE RAINBOW(referng to one of the rides)
guy siting alone infront of us was really funny
the seat was meant for two person so he moved left side and the right side constantly
no BUMPING to the sides i would say
Screamed like shit on all the rides
super fun screaming!
even if the thing was kuku! lol

bought it from Vivo ytd with clar and jermaine.
We had Lunch in this SuperComfy restaurant.
with sea view!i like it.
we were there for so long. 2 hours++
very nice place to catch up with ur pals
we all had pasta. Mine with bolognaise

I did my hair extension.
and i am fiddling alot with it!
haha its not very nice nor does it make much diff to my hairstyle.

The Food was NONo.

Throughout we played games,take photos.
I took quite a few photos.DOUBT i gonna look good in them!

the night ended pretty well with everyone standing up and singing the school song joyously!
after prom a whole bunch of us 12ppl went to K box!
we had two rooms. den peole was like runnning here and there.
hahaha.
So we lalalaed until abut 3am and got home.
the rest tonned till 6 there.

Took the most old school transport back to Malaysia.
the train! ktm.
the best way to spend the long hours on the train is no other den sleeping!
and from the train sation we took a bus up to genting.
Pretty convenient.
Been doing this a gazillion times.
Genting was rather hot compared to other times i went.
we went karaoke at this place called " Be a star karaoke"
very very very cheap sia. 2pax. k dinner only 38$!
oh yah and theres this new chill out place at highland hotel.
Called bakery. its really a good visit besides starbucks and coffeebean.
they sell cakes,chickenpies,hot chocolate,tea.
And how can u miss their nasi lemak in Malaysia.
No Sambal in any nasi lemak has dissapointed me so far.
i dunno how to describe but i love the sambals!
Thank kai-ma aso for brining us to the restaurant for very good food!and very cheap of course.8 people eat 7 dishes.
damn damn cheap. the fIsh was only 22rm.
again u wont be able to get these kind of prices in KL.
anyhow it was a 3 day thing in malaysia.
if not for prom tmr i would have stayed on longer..

my posts has been coming in like really late!
the previous days have just been goin out with loads of people to find prom stuffs.
it gets really irritating at one point of time dat u cant find wat u want and this was wat happened to xiuling.
I helped them look for shoes coz they really had no mood already.
Lucky jialing got hers
but not xiuling.
they didnt have her shoe size anymore!
and it was like the only nice one in the whole (almost) town which could match her dress.
yup.
and the guys, of course can get their stuffs quite easily actually bought their stuffs yesterday.
AND ME!
i still really dont know what to wear.REALLY!
i was thinking school uni.

Monday was fun!
straight after D&T
i chionged home to change and quickly meet them at town.
den i just walked around with the others to look for stuff.
after dat we went to clarke quay!
on the bridge. we set up on this human high platform.
there we were looking towards the sea with the breeze blowing soft on our face sitting on this platform SINGING.
as if the world had no one else haha.
went home rather late thinking " today study wat subject leh? "
oh wait o levels are over! i forgot lah.
it feels really empty without studying.

Last sat we celebrated dearCHERYL's birthday.
They went sentosa in the wee hours like 8?
mi and salome went later.
CHeryl totally had no idea we were goin.
of course we appeared when she least expected us to be there!
we were there with a cake to surprise her.
was she elated to see us? i dunno.

After the cake cutting ceremony and all else.
we headed back to the lovely beach..
well I had sunblock all over.hahaha.
Luckily the shades did not leave their "shape" on my face.

the sand was heated up and there was no way u could walk barefooted!

its been really long since i update.

Woot!its halloween! and
i m over the top! finally bought wat i wanted for a hundred years.
though it really did burnt another hole in my pocket.

last week after practical,
we cooked at Jialing's house. it was a spread! there were 3 plates of very eatable stuff, soup and lastly me MANUALLY squeezed orange juice!
i reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally had a good time.
and the day before we went to some Jap place for lunch.
i had curry udon. it was my first taste of Japanese curry.
not bad i liked the thick thick part of it, but could have been better actually
pardon mi for not being able to describe it in a better way

So so,
Vivo was fine with zara,topman,Pull and bear.
Just that still manymany shops are still not opened yet.

the grand opening is on 1 dec.gonna check it up again. Jane and i was looking for Some place with good pasta for lunch
but manymany cafes was not ready yet so yea settled at foodcourt...
spent like 5 hours at vivo?
partly because the place was rather big and time spent for queuing up at fitting rooms!
but i really like the spacious pathways and everything is not like cramped up in a shop.
now dats what i like.
Topshop had like couches outside the fitting room? super thoughtful lah.
So that i did not have to die standing up while waiting for jane when shes trying =D
I was barely feeling my legs after the rather long queue at Forever 21 and CoffeeBean.
Bad enough dat we slacked at harbourfront station before goin bugis.
pratically sitting down on the floor.deadbeat.

So we had Sakae today! the red plates were just mmms..YUMMY! the other coloured plates were not bad too alright! eating sushi makes mi a happy kid really. too bad stephie could only join us during her lunch break den she got to go back to work already. we walked her back to work and we went on to study over at Gelare. yes choco fudge cake! so much of sugar. i almost forgot sugar was fattening. i had a smoothie too. not too bad aso ;] i studied geog over there. damn, i really wan a A for geog. Desperate. cheryl and meh. cant see the face i know.. So cheryl bought the mp3 i wan today! damnit. Yuan shu's birthday celebration was fun!
first we went to marina square to zou zou
played arcade den we went to marina for steamboat!
steamboat and birthday celebration jus clicks very well!
yesterday there was like 2 other tables that was singing birthday song aso

yesterday finally went out with xiuling after so long.
the last time was bugis? in like june?
we bought lots of stuff from candy empire in milenia walk!
there was mini pretzels,chocolates,jellybeans.
I love Jelly beans! i just like the "kou gan".
and no i didnt eat the choclate they weren't mine ;]
but i was dying for some of course.
we studied over at Andersen's in marine square.
my happy brownie was good!
there was brownie and ice cream.
the rum in the " rum and raisin "
was rather strong. love it!
cam whored and did maths,
well my focus wasnt on studying so yeah.
we dropped by at esplanade.
the band played jazz one of my fav genre!
the woman sang chan mali chan too ahha
we sang along and had fun ;]
the music was good, made mi wanna dance.

Wees! i love Good food :] Yesterday was a date with japanese food at Waraku. i have been yearning for it for God knows how long..oh before dinner mi and Cheryl watched the forbidden siren ,a horror movie..too bad it only shocked mi at two parts of the movie. i wan more! not thrilling enoughlahs but the show's main point is that this Sister that lost her veryveryDearedbrother, den causing her to having a mental breakdown and throughout the show she thought her brother was still with her.
